Ms. Jo Valentine

Senior Consultant

Ms. Jo Valentine is a Senior Consultant for META Solutions. She is responsible for managing validation projects, for performing validation activities and developing validation-related deliverables. She is also responsible for managing regulatory compliance projects and providing guidance on practical approaches for regulatory compliance. Ms. Valentine has participated in regulatory compliance evaluation audits and the coordination and oversight of remediation efforts. She has over 15 years of project management and systems testing experience with almost 10 years in support of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Before joining META Solutions, Ms Valentine worked for the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command as the Validation Director, managing a staff of subject matter experts in support of implementation of FDA regulated systems. This included acquisition of systems, analysis of processes, development of regulatory compliant requirements, and participation in the SDLC to provide a project management methodology that supported compliant Validation practices. She established Command policies and procedures related to Validation and Configuration Management of regulated systems and software.

Prior to becoming affiliated with the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Ms. Valentine had a long career in the financial industry. Her last position was as Vice President of IT, focused on project management and system testing.
Ms. Valentine has received certifications as a Project Manager, Software Test Engineer, and as a Quality Analyst. She is a member of the Drug Information Association (DIA) and of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE).
